Why should you or your organization become a member of 4C?

 

 

· Members can acquire knowledge and leadership skills by being a part of an active coalition and network of individuals and organizations working to improve the quality of life for children, youth, and families in Wayne County.

· Members receive full voting privileges; corporate members have two voting representatives.

· Members choose from individual and corporate memberships and receive special senior and student rates.

· Members serve on committees and task forces that address specific child and family issues.

Members participate in the Annual Meeting and receive an Annual Report including Audited Financial Statement.

· Members can borrow from the 4C educational

resource library that includes books and audiovisual

materials.

· Members can fulfill professional membership

requirements.

· Members receive Information Alerts about critical issues relating to children, youth and families.

· Members receive a 4C membership pin and ID card.

· Members’ fees are tax-deductible (Fed. ID #3881995109) (MICS 11959)

Members can join Friends of 4C a leadership group that provides special support for 4C’s mission

Membership fees support 4C services. 4C is funded through private and public contracts, foundation grants, corporate and individual donations and 4C membership fees. 4C is a private, nonprofit 501 (c) (3) tax exempt education organization and has several locations in and around Wayne County to serve children, youth and families’. 4C is a member organization of United Way for Southeastern Michigan.

Membership Information

4C members work collectively and proactively to improve the quality of life for children and families throughout Wayne County. A membership with 4C can strengthen your knowledge and advocacy skills regarding the needs of children and families.

 

4C membership is open to parents, educators, health and human service providers, labor representatives, businesses, community organizations, child care providers, public officials Faith-based and other community leaders, and anyone who cares about children, youth and families.
